Ummmm, did you miss Daylight Sav... no, that still wouldn... did you miss a leap year somewhere? That wouldn't make sense anyways, because you would have been complaining about thursday last friday...

He was wildly jumping the gun. I think it had been Monday for only an hour and 38 minutes when he posted. (his time, if his location is correct)

I really have to go "lol" when someone complains about how it's "Thursday" or "Monday" for him and still there's no info (or hoping for someone to reach "Tuesday" soon so that he can get the info).
Seriously, it's US's time that matters, otherwise we'd be asking japanese/NZ people about it instead (since they'd reach a new day before most of us).

I am sure they are aware of that fact, however it seems that the money gained because of the magazine deal is more important than that.

Hmm I think Anet is happy with it.. any time your name is mentioned in a magazine, your sales go up. Bad publicity is still good publicity.
You know any actor or actress could sue gossip magazines for enormous amounts of money, but the only reason they don't is cos the magazines keep them 'hot'. If there aint gossips about you, you can just as well retire.

Why, what's the difference between this and them announcing it at the website? Not much, it'll still be on the forums when it comes out.

That is just silly. That old saying is increasingly obsolete, and does not at all cover luxury items. Most publicity is good publicity if you have a product that people need. If you have a product that solely offers entertainment value, bad publicity is bad.

Lol @ bad Publicity is good publicity . For example every single magazine and gaming website in the world reviews Game-X giving it 2/10. Good publicity? Yes Game-X will be famous, but because it is a bad product, and no one will buy it.
EDIT: Fixed so that the text doesn't mislead people

I do not know why you guys think a Magazine(Igromania - http://www.guildwars.com/press/mediapartners.php) which ANET has given this information to be released on stands March 27th will be posting RUMORS in their website?
I actually believe what is posted there. I'm sure most of you will also once the PC Gamer info gets out hopefully today, latest for sure will be April 3rd when anyone can buy it.

PS: I love Guild Wars Nightfall. That was just an example

I don't know where you get those reviews from. I haven't seen one that rated NF less than a 7. Most of them are higher than 8. Now, I don't know about magazines, since I never buy or read them, but a quick Google check will show you that NF has very good reviews.

@Meat Axe - danyjr was making that up to use as an example. He was not saying that he ever saw such a review. Would have been better to say GameX instead of GWNF.

Apparently not many of you are in the journalism business are you? To be completely honest, (according to my hypothesis) Ch4 probably wont be released until september, and they woundnt release info until probably May or June, but PC Gamer got a scoop, and we are hearing it much earlier because of that. I dont get why everyone MUST have ALL the information INSTANTLY. I think the big problem is that the Inquirer screwed most of you all up. Plus, it's just a game, is the TIME when the details come out really gonna effect how your play?
